Connect Your Tools. Eliminate the Manual Work.

Your business runs on data moving between systems. When that movement is manual or broken, it costs you time and mistakes every single day.

Most growing businesses reach a point where the seams between their tools become a real operational problem. Orders that need to be manually entered into the accounting system. Customer records that live in four places and are never quite in sync. Inventory that has to be updated in the store and the warehouse system separately. These are not small inconveniences — they compound into significant overhead and the kind of errors that damage customer relationships. JTS designs and builds integrations that make your systems talk to each other reliably, reducing manual work and giving you a single accurate picture of your business.

Mapping the Data Flows That Matter

Integration projects start with a thorough mapping exercise. We sit down with your team, trace every data flow that currently requires manual intervention, and understand the source of truth for each type of data. Which system is authoritative for customer records? Where does inventory originate? How do orders flow from storefront to fulfilment to accounting?

This mapping work often reveals more complexity than clients expect — and it also reveals which integrations will deliver the most value. We prioritise ruthlessly: the integrations that eliminate the highest-pain manual work come first.

We also identify failure points. Integrations break. What happens when a third-party API is down? What happens when a webhook fails silently? We design error handling and alerting into every integration from the start.

  • Data flow mapping and system audit
  • Source-of-truth identification per data type
  • Priority ranking by business impact
  • Error handling and retry strategy design

E-commerce and Operational Integrations

The most common integration projects we handle connect e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) to the rest of the business stack: ERPs, accounting tools like QuickBooks or Xero, shipping carriers, fulfillment platforms, loyalty programs, marketing automation, and customer support systems.

We use official APIs wherever they exist, build on top of established middleware platforms like Zapier or Make when that is the fastest path to a reliable result, and write custom integration code when off-the-shelf tools do not have the flexibility or reliability the situation demands.

For high-volume e-commerce operations, we build real-time inventory sync, automated order routing, and multi-warehouse coordination. These are not set-and-forget workflows — they need monitoring, and we build that monitoring in.

  • Shopify / WooCommerce to ERP sync
  • Accounting platform integration (QuickBooks, Xero)
  • Shipping carrier and 3PL connections
  • Marketing platform sync (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot)
  • Payment processor and fraud tool setup
  • Multi-channel inventory management

API Development and Custom Connectors

When you need to expose your own data to external systems — or when a tool you use does not have a public API — we build it. Custom REST or GraphQL APIs, webhook infrastructure, and purpose-built connectors are a regular part of our integration work.

We document every API we build to a standard that lets any developer work with it. Authentication, rate limiting, error codes, example requests and responses — real documentation rather than a collection of comments in the code.

Automation and Workflow Orchestration

Some of the most valuable work we do is automating multi-step business processes that currently require human coordination. Quote-to-invoice workflows. Client onboarding sequences. Approval chains for orders above a certain value. Automated reporting delivered to the right inbox at the right time.

We build these automations to be reliable, observable, and easy for your team to understand. Every automated workflow has a clear audit trail, a way to intervene manually when needed, and alerting when something unexpected happens.

  • Multi-step business process automation
  • Scheduled reporting and data pipeline jobs
  • Approval and notification workflows
  • Automated client or order onboarding sequences

FAQ

Common questions

Can you integrate with any software, or only well-known platforms?
Any software that has an API. For platforms without a public API, we evaluate what is possible — sometimes there are webhooks, export formats, or other mechanisms we can work with. If a tool genuinely cannot be integrated programmatically, we will tell you that honestly rather than build something fragile.
How do you handle data conflicts when two systems disagree?
We define conflict resolution rules during the design phase. Usually this means establishing a clear source of truth for each data type and letting that system win. For more complex scenarios, we build reconciliation logic and surface conflicts for human review rather than making an automated decision that could corrupt data.
What happens when an integration breaks?
Integrations break occasionally — APIs change, rate limits are hit, network timeouts happen. We build retry logic and dead-letter queues for failed messages, and we configure alerting so the right person knows when something has failed. For clients on a retainer, we monitor and fix integration issues proactively.
We are already using Zapier or Make — do we need custom integration work?
Not necessarily. Zapier and Make are excellent tools for many use cases. If your current automations are working reliably and the cost is reasonable, we might recommend leaving them in place. We evaluate the right tool per use case — custom code when flexibility or reliability demand it, off-the-shelf when they are the faster and cheaper path to the same outcome.
